Cipher captures the feature race

Cipher, owned by Al Nasseriyeh, trained by Alan Smith and ridden by Marvin Suerland, was the biggest winner of the day as it beat Rakhine by two-and-half-a-length to win the Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup for imported horses which carried a cash prize of BD2,000.

Sizzling Fire was third, one-and-one-fourth-length behind, and Trajectory fourth, a neck adrift.
 
Jockey Marvin Suerland gewinnt Hauptrennen in Bahrain

Marvin Suerland, derzeit in Katar reitender Jockey, hatte am vergangenen Freitag bei einem Abstecher nach Bahrain einen guten Tag. Im siebten Rennen, das gleichzeitig das Hauptereignis war, siegte der Kölner Reiter auf Cipher mit zweieinhalb Längen Vorteil für Trainer Alan Smith und Besitzer Al Nasseriyeh im Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup.
