Al Rayyan Al Sakab triumphs in Al Jassasiya Cup

Mohammed Hamad Al Attiya trained Al Rayyan Al Sakab was ridden to victory by Marvin Suerland in the Al Jassasiya Cup (Local Thoroughbred Graduation Plate) during the 22nd race meeting on January 2.

At the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (REC), Al Rayyan Al Sakab won by convincing three lengths in a time of one minute and 14.59 seconds. The feature event of the day was a 1,200-metre contest and there were 12 runners in the fray. It was for prize money of QR 80,000. Araam was second followed by Thunder Bullet.
